GIRSAN YAVUZ 16 9mm PISTOL

Beretta had contracted MKEK for manufacturing work on their pistols. This arrangement ended somewhat negatively (?), and MKEK continued producing some firearms for their own use.
The Yavuz 16 differs from modern Beretta 92FS pistols in that it is of all-steel construction, whereas new Beretta models use polymer guide rods and triggers.
The pistol was produced for use with Turkish law enforcement, but was eventually exported to the United States through American Tactical Imports.
